My Closet!

I really liked the colors on this hatbox, so I painted the walls "Jamaica Bay", which is kind of light turquoise, and then I painted all the shelves black.

I'm not done organizing yet, but so far, everything fits.

And my shoes:

The closet also has a weird little "secret" passage. There's a tiny door that comes out in a built-in bookshelf in the living room area. We're storing our luggage in there, and I'm going to put up a curtain to cover it up.

My Bedroom Furniture

This is what the bedroom looked like before:

Here is is now, with our new furniture. I really, really like it, but it' s enormous. This is the best picture I could get without standing out in the yard:

The walls are light blue, even though they look purple here. The furniture is really dark brown, almost black.
